I am a makeup addict. But you all knew that already. One of my favourite beauty inventions ever is The Makeup Box. When I discovered it, I had to wonder how on earth no-one had thought of it before. Prior to that my makeup was organised in a complicated system of makeup bags… Ugh! It was awful. I couldn’t see anything and had to grope around looking for things all the time. Sound familiar?
My Makeup Box lives in the bathroom, topped with my perfumes and surrounded by my skincare. I always know where to look and where to reach when I need something. The five drawers are clear, meaning you can always see what’s inside, without even having to open them.
I like to think of it as a little shrine to makeup. As far as I’m concerned, this is the ultimate makeup storage solution.
See through drawers make everything super easy to find! The four slimmer drawers are perfect for things like eyeshadows, lipsticks, eyeliners and mascaras!
And I use the deeper drawer at the bottom for larger items like foundations, liquid bronzers and highlighters, concealers and awkward tools like eyelash curlers.

Why would I need a Makeup Box? Oh, let me count the ways!
Right now, my makeup collection is stored in a dozen lunchboxes, two traincases and various makeup bags. It drives me NUTS that I can’t see and have to open box after box. As a result I barely use what I have and that’s not the point, is it?

Miss Rosie, I too have a complicated and frustratingly awkward system for my make-up organisation (ok lack of). There are make-up bags , bottoms of drawers, half a medicine cabinet and I am ashamed to say plastic bags currently storing my Make-up. I hang my head in shame..

My lip products and mascaras are out of control. Sometimes I just want that one particular pink lipstick to complete my look that day. It’s heart breaking when I either can’t find it or run out of time to search for it! Plus it look pretty

Gosh. I might need two Makeup Boxes, Rosemary. I now have a 30cm x 30cm box JUST of eyeshadow palettes (and that doesn’t include my MAC one..) Then I have a slide out drawer of lipsticks. And another for lipglosses. I should stop there. This would look amazing in my bathroom!

Ohh I’d like a Makeup Box because otherwise I tend to stick to the same colours (purely cos I can’t see everything I’ve got) – and if I had one, I could be more inventive! and I am not in my 20s any more so I need all the help I can get!

Norlin, yes, you’re in that spot where if your collection grows too much faster or larger without organisation then you could get into a bit of a mess! I just need one because I do not have enough places for my makeup. Plus cosmetic companies spend so much time making the packaging for makeup look pretty, why hide it away in anything but clear drawers?

Ive had a major change in my life, Ive given my makeup drawer a huge clean out. Ive learnt to organise and sort but lacking compartments and containers.As I was decluttering I discovered a a reasonable amount of unused cosmetics so Ive oened them and thrown the packaging of makeup I didnt know I had but absolutely love. If I win this amazing box I will never lose new purchases and get to use them, It will help me keep and stay organised and I can see what I have and what I need. I will be the envy of friends, it will look so cool I have already cleared a spot for it. I guess the only downside to it? Hubby will see my collection growing, but I can live with that!
Benedetta, that sounds almost exactly like what I was like before my Makeup Box, I would lose new purchases all the time and have no idea where even some of my favourites were! I need a makeup box because my eyeshadow and eyeliner situation (unlike my spartan lipstick situation) is raging out of control! I have jars of them in my bathroom cupboard and it’s becoming rather a hazard when they skittle about everywhere as I reach for the volumising powder every morning – eek!

Oh my goodness i need this so bad, right now my brushes are in an old cotton bud container and i stole Steve’s toolbox from the shed to put my makeup in, it’s ridiculously ugly and stinks of some weird lubricant for some kind of greasy machine! bahaha delightful!

Wowza! Well the reason I need the Make Up Box is quite simple really. Because of my current lack of make up storage solution I am missing a) my FAVOURITE NARS Lip Pencil and b) my brand new Astor liquid eye liner (a cheapie purchased in Vienna and can’t be purchased here, I stretched my last one for 2 years and then organised my Euro vacation around getting another one, seriously. No other liquid eyeliner is as good). Have you ever heard anything so tragic? I didn’t think so! Hahaha xx

My fiance is getting frustrated that I have taken over 90% of the bathroom storage with all my makeup, and to be honest, I have kind of forgotten exactly what I already own because it is so disorganised! A makeup box would be an organisational dream come true!

I have all of my makeup on a shelf in the bathroom cupboard. Its not tidy and a GIANT pain in the butt to find what I’m looking for! I’m sure there are things in there that have never even been used! This would make finding makeup so much easier and it would look spiffy on the bathroom counter!

Over bags and boxes, I crave a makeup box for all my lovely cosmetics who feel abused and neglected in drawers and boxes on the floor. A makeup box would allow me to use them more. Using a variety would make me less of a bore and makeup storage would stop being such an uninspiring chore!

Basket on my dresser, scattered in my drawers, piled in the bathroom cupboard and strewn all over the bathroom bench, I’ve always had to deal with too much makeup and not enough places to store it. I’m always running from the bathroom to the bedroom trying to find my eyeliner or that specific lash plumping mascara. I never knew such an amazing and so simple, I should have thought of it sooner, invention like the Makeup Box was around and now I know exactly what I need to organise my piles of makeup into proper order. I’d label the drawers too so I knew exactly where what is. x

dont get me started!!! I’m about to start a makeup course and I have been buying like mad! I use my makeup to feel more confident in what I look like. The problem with this is I have sooooo much makeup that it’s overflowing three shoe boxes! I’m in desperate need of a make up box so I can keep my make up secure for my use and keep it away from the curious hands of my three year old that has been known to wear my lipstick as blusher and my eyeliner on her forehead!
I have one of these and… is it too dramatic to say ‘It has changed my life!!!’ – yep a little dramatic, haha, but soooo true!! I have trouble keeping myself organised, but not anymore (when it comes to makeup anyway), everything is in its place and I imagine I will end up saving weeks of wasted time over my lifetime having this product! It also encourages me to wear my makeup everyday, whereas before it was a bit of a chore to get it all out, apply and pack away.

I recently moved house and packing made me realise just how ridiculous my makeup collection is! But, of couse, I couldn’t bear to part with most of it so now I have a million of the free makeup bags I’ve acquired over the years filled with bits and bobs and bursting at the seams. I wouldn’t mind this so much except that makeup packaging is rather beautiful and meant to be seen which is exactly why I think The Makeup Box is such a genius idea – it doesn’t hide the pretty!
