This weekend I am indulging in long weekend away on the Gold Coast with my bestie Sarah of Hip & Haute. We’re both Leos and decided we would celebrate our birthdays together with a bash that we’ve nicknamed “Our Super Sweet Sixteen”. I fly out of Sydney tomorrow and am looking forward to a long weekend filled with fun, bestie silliness, some pampering, plenty of shopping and lots of good food and drinks!
I’ll be blogging and instagramming as we go, but I’m too excited to wait… So let me illustrate the weekend that is yet to happen with some photographs of other people having fun.
I’ll be packing tonight, and I imagine it will look something like this…
Once I get off the plane, it will be: friends, fun and generally enjoying a long weekend dedicated to just relaxing and doing whatever we want.

It certainly WILL! Hahah, I had so much trouble finding photos of just TWO friends together. All the “best friends” images were groups of girls, like three or more. Then I thought of Gossip Girl. I don’t know that either of us is completely one or the other. But if I had to choose… I think you’re probably a little more Serena than me. I’m quieter and not quite as easily cool. I’m probably a bit more prim and proper like Blair. What do you think? If YOU had to say who was who, what would you say?

I will take either one! haha. I would say that I act more like Blair (bitchy, knows what she wants… LOL) but I do think we could fit either character in some ways. I think they are both equally gorgeous!
Haha then I will happily take cruisy Serena, although I don’t think you’re bitchy at all! Agreed, we could both be either. They are the epitome of “best friends having fun” — I guess that’s why there are so many great shots of them around. We are going to be insta-spamming everyone this weekend! xx

I met my bestfriend 4 & a half years ago through mutual friends & it is crazy how much we have in common, some would say its a little scary. We are both Cancerians & born on the same date, only a few hours apart & we are the same age. We have been having joint birthday celebrations since we met & I wouldn’t change a thing
Have the best time!! I’m flying to Brisbane this weekend and envision some similar packing mayhem and catch ups with my bestie!
